Activity #6
- Watch the video and after watching it, work on a Reflective Journal, reflect on the video and the importance in your own words of preserving and protecting nature and ecosystems.
Activity #4
Elements to include in the website:
- Name of the agency (create one name)
- Mini dictionary with the new words (Include the dictionary of each member in the group).
- Type of biome and places where it can be found.
- Biotic and abiotc factors (4 each, 8 in total)
- Biotic interactions within a population. (2 minimun)
- Biotic interactions within different populations.(2 minimun)
- Feeding relationships of 3 organisms: producers, consumers, and decomposers.
- Pictures, video, and audio of the biotic factors. (5 minimun)
- Importance of biodiversity.
- Human impact (pollution, climate change, and destruction of habitats).

- Read "Preserving Biodiversity."
- Create a mind map in a piece of paper summarizing the information stated in the reading.
- Include:
- Add the Mind Map to your Science Folder.
Activity #3
- Create a website using Google Sites.
- Create pages to include all the aspects requested.
- Pretend you and your classmates own a Travel Agency, make this website the first thing your clients see about you and your agency.
- Share the Google Sites document with all the members in your group.
Activity #1
- Create a digital brochure or small booklet with 8 new words or concepts from the printed material of the unit: Ecology.
- Include words that can help the clients of the travel agency to better understand the topic of ecology.
- Write the definition and add one image for each new word and/or concept.
- The 8 words must be different than the ones your classmates in your base group are using.
- Save your brochure to add it to your website.
Activity #5
- Analyze how climate change, pollution and destruction have affected the biome and offer a solution to that problematic.
- Incorporate the findings in the Google Sites.
