The search for a place and a teacher
In my high school years, I have made good connections with some of my teachers. Thanks to them, I have contacted my former teacher at EPS who has kindly accepted to take me. I also thank my former high school, Auguste Brizeux, in Quimper, for accepting me to film a course with Ms. Piton.
Observing disruptive behavior
After watching the lesson several times, conducting interviews with the teacher and collecting student questionnaires, I have become really excited to work on disruptive behavior by showcasing what a student was doing during the lesson. Next, I have tried to understand his behavior using Bandura's theory of self-efficacy and Deci and Ryan's theory of motivation. Utilizing the different categories proposed by their theories, I have attempted to comprehend his deviant behavior. Finally, I have chosen to present this work in the form of a short TV presentation to make it more lively.
Record the class in action
After the school has agreed and signed the authorization papers, I have been able to record Ms. Piton's lesson. It has been a class of second during the second lesson of a weight-training cycle where students have discovered through different small exercises the muscles.
