From the 1960s to the present, the way we watch movies has undergone a significant transformation due to technological advances, changes in the film industry, and evolution in entertainment consumption habits.

During the 2000s to 2010 digital download platforms emerged that allowed people to watch movies online.

During the 60s and 70s people went to local movie theaters to see new releases and popular movies.

In the 80s and 90s, people rented movies from video stores or videoclubs.

2010s to present Platforms such as Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video offer access to a vast library of content that viewers can watch anytime, anywhere with an Internet connection.
