The currency in Cuba is called the Cuban Peso (CUP) and centavos. One Cuban Peso is equal to 0.042 United States Dollars (USD). Centavos are what we would consider as cents. Cenatvos are also used in some other Spanish-speaking countries. CUP are printed into $1, $3, $5, $10, $20, $50, $100,$500, and $1000 banknotes. The coins are minted in 1,2,5,20, and 40 centavos.

Hurricane season is from July to November. Hurricanes can many disasters such as floods. To be prepared for this, know the evacuation plans for whereever you are staying.

Cuba is an active earthquake zone. To prepare for the event of an earthquake, it is best to know what should be done during an earthquake.

Tsunamis can be a direct result of earthquakes. Therefore, you should know the warning signs of tsunamis because when you get the offical warnings it might be too late.

In summary, I would really like to visit Cuba. Aside from the many tourist attractions and the culture of Cuba, Cuba has one of the best healthcare systems, despite its economic position. One of the main reasons Cuba has a good healthcare system is because in Cuba they focus on prevention instead of cure.
