IMMEDIATE NEEDS

1. An official 121 coordinator (must be paid or compensated in another manner) 2. Foundational classes in video, broadcast, and social media marketing (121 should not try to fill the gaps and be the foundational course for several specialties) 3. Adjunct liasions for each track at Hussman (video, reporting, etc.) to handle onboarding and mentoring new hires4. Teaching observations during the first semester for new adjuncts (preferrably done by a longtime 121 instructor) 5. Eliminate paid web hosting and use Tarheels.live 6. Decide on the overarching purpose of 121. Is it meant to be a brief intro to the various forms of digital content creation, or something else?

ADDITIONAL CONCERNS

1. Should we make 121 a 4-hour course with only two sections? One professor would cover lectures and oversee the course, then breakout instructors would handle teaching the tech skills (similar to 137)2. Should we simply eliminate 121?3. Should we implement a tech fee, so students have access to more and better gear?
