MYTH- Warts are caused by a human virus, not frogs or toads. But the wartlike bumps behind a toad's ears can be dangerous. These glands contain a nasty poison that often irritates the skin of humans. So toads may not cause warts, but they can cause other nasties.
MYTH- Opossums use their tails to grasp branches as they climb trees. So it's not surprising that people believe they also hang from branches.A baby opossum can hang from its tail for a few seconds, but an adult is too heavy.
MYTH_ they wouldn't be able to breathe! They dig holes in the dirt to use as nests for their eggs.. So it really does look like the birds are burying their heads in the sand!

FACT_ Numerical problems can inspire fear and anxiety in many of us but some species tackle these things handily. A study in 2011 determined pigeons’ ability to reason using abstract rules about math—with skill levels on a par with monkeys.
FACT - Because koalas’ primary source of food—the eucalyptus tree—is toxic, their digestive systems need to work overtime to break the toxins down. This process is energy-consuming and is why they sleep for 18 to 22 hours per day
MYTH-Bats’ eyes are small and sometimes poorly developed, but they work just fine. Megabats search for food using sight and smell. Micro-bats mainly hunt by echolocation.
