The movie Alice In Wonderland is not nearly as expensive as Tangled, Alice In Wonderland was for $3 million dollars. All though that still is a lot, it's not as much as the movie Tangled. The little talking doorknob was the only new character that Walt Disney created for the film.

The name 'Mulan' translates as magnolia or wood orchid. That is why there are a ton of them in the movie! During the recording sessions animators noticed that Ming-Na (perso that plays Mulan) touched her hair a lot so they made Mulan do that too.
