El deseo de Emila la confronta y empuja a huir de su familia. Montando en su caballo por la sierra donde se hace pasar por un joven arriero, descubre un mundo diferente que la lleva a encontrar su destino. Emilia's desires drive her to escape her family and their confines. Venturing into the mountains on horseback, she adopts the guise of a young muleteer, immersing herself in a new world that ultimately guides her to uncover her true destiny.

LOCACIONES MÁGICASMAGICAL LOCATIONS
En octubre de 2021 un equipo de más de 60 personas, integrado y dirigido por mujeres en los puestos principales, estuvimos seis semanas filmando La Arriera. En locaciones de Jalisco como La Yerbabuena, Mascota, Los Reyes, San Sebastián del Oeste, Palmillas de Maicedo y El Jorullo ; en Nayarit como Sayulita y Playa Patzcuarito . Un recorrido por la antigua ruta de ‘Los arrieros‘ hasta llegar a la costa en Las Peñas (hoy en día Puerto Vallarta), donde Emilia concluye su misión como arriero y se descubrirse.
In October 2021, a team of over 60 people, composed and led by women in key positions, spent six weeks filming La Arriera. We filmed in locations across Jalisco such as La Yerbabuena, Mascota, Los Reyes, San Sebastián del Oeste, Palmillas de Maicedo, and El Jorullo; as well as in Nayarit, including Sayulita and Playa Patzcuarito. It was a journey along the ancient route of 'Los arrieros' until reaching the coast in Las Peñas (nowadays Puerto Vallarta), where Emilia concludes her mission as a muleteer and discovers herself.
