Gli aggettivi quantificatori in inglese, come "a lot of", "much", "many", sono fondamentali per esprimere quantità e quantificare sostantivi. Questi aggettivi sono usati per indicare se qualcosa è in gran parte, in piccola quantità o in quantità specifica. Eccoli spiegati uno per uno:

• Usiamo much quando ci riferiamo ad un oggetti che non si possono contare (uncountables)

• degli esempi sono: read, fruit, juicer,meat, rice, cofee, cereal, milk, sugar, love, air, soup, salt, butter, cheese.

• ex: There isn't much sugar left in the jar.

• NB: non bisogna confondere i countables con tutti quegli oggetti che noi possiamo misurare tramite unita di misura

• Usiamo many quando ci riferiamo a oggetti che possiamo contare (countables)

• degli esempi sono:

burgers, sandwich, hot dogs, apple, oranges, watermelon, carrots, tomatoes, pen, chair.

• ex: There are many books on the shelf.
