Visual content is a cross-cutting, universal language, like music. We are capable of understanding images from millions of years ago, even from other cultures.

In order to better protect our environment, it is important to check for water quality and point out potential hazards. Further, a comparison between the quality of wetlands and other water bodies(in this case a creek) will facilitate a comprehensive assessment of specific parameters that affect water quality. The major tests that will be conducted are understanding the amount of dissolved oxygen, the percent saturation of the oxygen, nitrate and phosphate levels, pH, turbidity, and macro scores. All of these will then be rated on a scale from poor to good.

While there is specific definition or constraints that make up a watershed it can generally be described as a general collection of creeks, rivers, that eventually collect into larger reservoirs and bays. While some can be the size of a modest lake, others, like the Mississippi River Watershed, drain millions of square miles over the span of 31 states and provinces. However wetlands can become extremely polluted as rivers and creeks catch pollutants on their way to the main body of water.

Wetlands are described as unique habitats consisting of marshes and swamps. They facilitate habitats for a diverse range of organisms. How can these wetlands help watersheds? Wetlands have the unique ability to hold and block pollutants before they form a watershed. Of course, it is important to remember that there is a limit to the amount of pollutants that a watershed can hold. Too many pollutants can harm and kill species present in the wetlands.

Data Graphed

Theis data is imensely helpful for understanding surrounding environments. Especially since wtlands affect whole water cycles, the security and safety of many lakes and ecosystems. Further it ensures an understanding of ideal water conditions for most habitats and organisms for future conservation efforts.

For more accurate results data could be collected from multiple sources, in order for a more through analysis of water quality. In this case having two relative similar samples based on water quality did not assist in a thorough analysis or comparison. Further, ensuring a longitudal study understanding the changes in water quality with respect to temperature and time of year would also aid in a deeper understanding.

There are ofcorce, limitations to the data presented. These are both in the way the data was collect but also with how it is presented. Firsly temperature and other differences such as location and human error while collecting the data is not accounted for. Further, the data could be presented in away where ideal amounts of a mineral are shown for a proper comarison.

There are many claims that can be derived from the data presented. First, it is easy to deduct that both water bodies fall under the fair-good categories for water quality. Both have relatively good oxygen, nitrate, phosphate, and pH levels. Aditionally both also have exccelent macro scores. While the creek had great turbidity, the wetland waters were not as clear. Lastly both waters have low percent saturation levels. Overall, both have good enough water quality to sustain life but with certain limits.

Pose a dramatic question; it is the essential ingredient to maintain the audience's attention. It is usually subtly posed at the beginning of the story to intrigue the audience and is resolved at the end.
