THE STUDY

The "Harvard Study of Adult Development" is one of the longest and most important researches conducted on adult life. It focuses on different aspects of adult life with the aim of understanding the factors that affects the health of individuals throughout their lifetime. The research also aims to provide valuable information to improve the quality of life of individuals.

THE SUBJECTS

Grant Study Started in 1938, this initial cohort comprised 268 matriculated male students at Harvard. Glueck Study Beginning in 1940, this cohort comprised 456 boys from disadvantaged families in Boston. The diversity of these subjects and the length of the study period provided a rich source of data for understanding human development models.
