Most appropriate for terminal illness at end of life

Hospice team cares for patients and families at home or in a care facility.

Patients can continue to recieve treatments that may prolong life or cure illness while also focusing on management of uncontrolled symptoms related to diagnosis.

Treatment for illness/ life prolonging measures are stopped, management of uncontrolled symptoms related to diagnosis continue
