Documents I LIKED
I liked this document because it is the perfect case of hainous peoplewriting article to destroy the positive image that he got doing the food campaign. We can see that those type of document are really used for political reason and I really enjoyed this document because of how can can analyse it and find that there is a lot of message behind an article
I liked this document because it asks a lot of question about how the current and next generation will do to avoid fake news. Its very interesting for me because I'm living in this generation and I can see a lot of people even friends using social media like a source, today a lot of people use X(twitter) to stay informed of what is happening in the world, but most of the time they don't get source.
I didn't liked this document because the topic is really terrible. I think that talking about how media are used for political reason is not the best subject. I don't like the topic itself because it is really controversial ans hard to explain and I don't feel like I'm able to talk about this

Stephen Colbert could not have predicted how much his idea of “truthiness” would come to define American politics — or how much it would affect how journalists do their jobs. The term, coined for the premiere of Colbert’s Comedy Central show in 2005, means to believe something is true because you want to believe it’s true. It’s truth by gut, rather than fact. “Donald Trump took that to the extremes and challenged how journalists cover someone,” NPR TV critic Eric Deggans said Tuesday morning to a group gathered at Poynter for a breakfast with media insiders that also included an announcement of this year’s Bowtie Ball honoree. “Typically when someone is lying, journalists report that they’re lying and then they get embarrassed and stop doing it. That stopped happening.”

II liked this doc because I think the realisation of the video is very good and we can understand that they must have put a lot of time in it. This video is a good representation of the "perfect school" but we all know what is hiding behind it and thats why I liked it

What strikes me most about this text is its nuanced exploration of the relationship between educational pedigree and entrepreneurial success.
1. DOC I DIND'T LIKED
I'm not particularly fond of this text for a few reasons. Firstly, while President Biden's effort to forgive up to $20,000 of federal student loan debt for Pell Grant recipients and $10,000 for other qualifying borrowers may seem generous, it falls short of addressing the full extent of the student debt crisis. The amounts offered may provide some relief, but they may not be enough to significantly alleviate the financial burdens faced by many borrowers.

Hamza's experience navigating the college application process as a first-generation student from a low-income family is emblematic of the challenges many students like her encounter. The complexity of financial aid forms and the cancellation of SAT exams due to the pandemic underscore the additional hurdles she had to overcome. The lack of adequate support from her school, characterized by a scarcity of guidance counselors for thousands of students, further compounds her difficulties. While her affluent peers receive assistance and resources, Hamza relies on pro bono help to cobble together her applications to prestigious universities.
This photo was taken in 2020, black people in USA was trying to improve the number of black student because they said that they felt underepresented ans that the freedom in academic is in danger after this 44 college limited all conversation about lgbtq and racism. Student reaction was to say that it was a gag and that some people had fueled the "culture war"
Colleges to Education Department: We don't have enough time to process FAFSA information. Two-thirds of colleges and universities polled in a new survey said they don’t believe they’ll be able to successfully process student financial aid data in the next few weeks. n.

I choosed this doc because the video game’s narrative and world do engage with the threat transhumanism poses to identity and living an authentic human life, this entry’s author argues that the real danger of transhuman enhancement in Cyberpunk is how easily enhancement has been exploited to maintain corporate control over society. Yet, Cyberpunk mostly recommends against violent, revolutionary resistance.

To Be a Machine implicitly recognises that there is a vast, less extreme territory of bodily enhancement to be navigated – involving smart drugs, wearable technologies and other small steps towards bioengineered “post-humans”. But O’Connell chooses to zero in on the transhumanists’

I don't particularly like this text for a few reasons. Firstly, it dwells on pessimistic themes and portrays a bleak outlook on the future, which doesn't resonate with my personal preferences or beliefs. The pervasive sense of gloom and doom, with mentions of climate change, financial collapse, terrorism, and political gridlock, feels overwhelming and disheartening. Additionally, the description of the television show "Years and Years" as a dark and unsettling portrayal of a future filled with geopolitical turmoil and societal collapse doesn't sit well with me. The depiction of real-world political figures and events in a dystopian narrative seems sensationalist or fear-mongering, rather than offering meaningful insights or solutions.
I appreciate this text for its imaginative and whimsical portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II. The vivid imagery of her navigating palace corridors with her faithful corgis by her side and embarking on a thrilling helicopter ride with James Bond captures the imagination. This creative depiction blurs the lines between reality and fiction, weaving together elements of British royalty with iconic moments from cinema history. The text's description of Queen Elizabeth parachuting into the Olympic stadium during the opening ceremony of the London Games a decade ago is particularly captivating. This scene, which seamlessly blends truth and fantasy, symbolizes a departure from traditional perceptions of the Queen as a stoic figure and presents her as a daring and adventurous monarch.
I find this text resonant for its candid and introspective exploration of identity, representation, and storytelling in the entertainment industry. Sacha Dhawan's initial hesitation and subsequent deep engagement with the project reflect a nuanced understanding of the importance of authentic representation and the potential pitfalls of stereotyping. His honesty about his concerns regarding the portrayal of Indian families in media and his relief upon discovering the depth and authenticity of Sathnam Sanghera's memoir highlight the need for nuanced and culturally sensitive storytelling. Dhawan's decision to audition for the project despite his initial reservations underscores his commitment to portraying complex and multifaceted characters with integrity.

Wikipedia serves as a bastion of reliable information in an era plagued by misinformation and disinformation. Through its collaborative and transparent editing process, Wikipedia plays a crucial role in safeguarding against falsehoods and promoting factual accuracy. One of the key features that make Wikipedia a trustworthy source is its open editing model. While some may view this as a potential vulnerability to vandalism or misinformation, the reality is quite the opposite. Wikipedia's large community of editors continually monitors and scrutinizes changes made to articles, ensuring that inaccuracies are swiftly corrected. This collective effort acts as a powerful defense mechanism against deliberate attempts to spread misinformation.
Firstly, it appears to critique the portrayal of Britain in global television and film as shockingly homogenous and fictional. The text suggests that depictions of the Queen in particular perpetuate an idealized image of Britishness, which may not align with your perception of cultural diversity and authenticity. Furthermore, the text seems to imply that the focus on British royalty and historical figures in popular media reinforces a narrow and outdated understanding of British identity. This portrayal, according to the text, may contribute to a romanticized view of the past and serve as a form of propaganda, particularly in the context of Brexit.
