What is May Day ?
• May Day it is a ancient spring festival in the northern hemisphere and also a tradional holiday in many cultures.
Many years ago May Day was a Celtic celebration, marking the beginning of summer. At the end of the 19th century, in the United States, it became a day to fight for workers' rights .
May day is internationallyrecognized as a day to celebrate workers and their rights.
