We have to design a podcast involving elderly people.
To create my podcast, I will need a script, to have my planning, a creative and catchy name, logo or brand cover if there is enough time, it would be nice to have one.
Now, I know that elder people can not be taken by themselves, they somebody to take care of them. Also, they have long time memory, they remembe things that happened when they were younger but do not have short time memory.
What characteristics, according to your research, your podcast idea should have?Do I have any reference(s)? (you worked on this last class)
What things are a must and what should not be part of it?
According to my podcast we need to define your objective/goal, pick a topic/type of podcast, name of podcast, setup the equipment, choose the software to make it, start recording, edit it (If you want), publish it.My references are a Harry potter podcast and a podcast talking about elderly people and technology.
The podcast must include at least one elderly people involved. The podcast should be about interviewing or co-hosting with elderly people. The podcast should talk about elderly people
What do we know now about podcasts, elders preferences, or something else that showed during research?
A podcast is an audio, where you talk with somebody or alone about a topic. Podcasts are important because they share experiences, knowledge and entertainment with the audience and there is 8 types of podcasts. We need equipment to create the podcast. Only some elders listen to podcasts since they are not familiar with the technology.
I want my audience to understand how is to be an elder people, their needs, problems and situations. To make my podcast successful I have to make it entretaining and fun, so my audience does not get bored and can enjoy listening to this podcast

What do I know about them? How can I describe them?
Do I have any new information about them after research?
As already mentioned, my audience are 8th graders. I know that they are around 12/13/14 years old. It is going to be difficult working with them since most teenagers are not interested in podcats so it is going to be a challenge. I don't have any other information after the research.
According to my research, my podcast should have an objective, an intro, explenation, sub-topics and outro. My references are 2 podcasts, one that mentioned elderly people and their needs. The second one talked about harry potter (making reference to things my audience likes). The podcast should be about interviewing or co-hosting with elderly people.

What do I want to achieve with this project? What do I have to do to make it successful?
I want my audience to understand and learn about elderly people, since my audience is 8th graders. I want them to understand the importance of elderly people. To make my podcast successful I have to know how to make a podcast, have an audience, understand the importance of the podcasts, the types of podcasts and know about elderly people. I have to be prepared before creating a podcast.
My audience is 8th graders. I know that they are between 12,13 and 14 years old, making them teens. After my research I understood that not many of them listen to podcasts but some of them do. They like fun and entretaining podcasts.
