Synopsis

• Set in 1884, in the state of New-Mexico, Roy Goode, a young outlaw on the run from his vengeful mentor Frank Griffin, winds up in a small town by the name of Belle which is surprisingly only populated by women, old-people and children.
• What is even more surprising to him is that the town is ruled by those women. Then, he learns that all of their husbands (53) died in the mine.
• Following that, everything gets complicated for Griffin and his crew when they face the women with riffles and well-trained.

Godless received positive reviews for its outstanding visual aesthetics and performance especially by The Guardian who described it as :

"a wonderfully wicked western that fires on all cylinders.[...]The show features standout performances.[...] The town of La Belle, where women stand their ground against outlaws, adds a unique twist to the classic western genre."

It was also was named one of the year's 10 best by The Washington Post and Vanity Fair.
