You have to choose one of the three options for your speaking test in class. You will have to talk for 2-4 minutes in pairs.

  • Write a dialogue in pairs following the example on page 92 in the Students Book.
  • Include Useful Vocabulary and Everyday English words and expressions
  • You also need to use the Past Simple for the verbs.
  • Present it in front of the class. Bring or create the necessary objects to class.

MAKE A DIALOGUE

  • Choose an extinct animal from the past and present it to the class.
  • Mention the following points
  • Remember that you will have to use the PAST SIMPLE, because the animal doesn't exist anymore.
  • You have to make a PPT presentation and include pictures.

  • You have to make a PPT presentation and include pictures / drawings that represent the actions in your story.

Some tips for your speaking...

  • Talk loudly and clearly. Not too fast! It will be easier to understand what you are saying.
  • If you don't know how to pronunce a word, look it up online.
  • Body language and eye contact!
  • If you make a mistake, don't be afraid to correct yourself.
  • PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE...
    • You will control the time better & feel more comfortable when you speak.
