Food waste in our school
At school it's a very coomon event because, when the lessons finish, on the desk or under them, or even in the bin, there is a lot of food wasted, that is surely still good to eat. That food isn't going to be eaten in the next days, so it's just going to expire. And it's not just food but drinks too.
We suggest to make shop owners and consumers aware of this problem and try to reduce this waste by raising awarness of the amount of food wasted and of the amount of food that can still be eaten but is thown away everyday. We also suggest the use of the app "Too Good To Go"
Food waste in the world.

Food waste is a very common event and a problem that is very hard to solve, it affects the whole world, especially big cities where there are a lot of people and the food increases. It refers to food that is still fit for consumption but consciously at the retail and discarded.
What are people in our town doing to help?
In our town, there are some markets or bars that sell the food that hasn't been eaten or sold during the day at a lower price and to not waste it, people buy it and take it home because it's still good to eat.
