History of the Library

Seventy-seven years in the making, the Graham Library is uniquely traditional and online.

The only thing that you absolutely have to know, is the location of the lIbrary. -Albert Einstein

  • Constructed in 1930 as part of the ND State Normal and Industrial School
  • In 1965, the University of ND took over and increased library holdings considerably
  • In 1972, Trinity moved to Ellendale from Jamestown bringing a mere 3,000 volumes
  • Today we house 86,00 physical volumes and have access to thousands of eBooks
