ROLES WITHIN A MAFIA FAMILY

Initiation into the mafia is a clandestine process involving careful vetting, a solemn blood oath ceremony, and a pledge of lifelong loyalty. Prospective members, known as associates, undergo rigorous scrutiny before being introduced to the family. Upon acceptance, they swear allegiance to the organization and its code of silence, committing to uphold its principles under penalty of death. With the guidance of a mentor, initiates gradually assume roles within the organization, earning trust through their dedication and obedience. Loyalty is paramount, and any betrayal is met with severe consequences. Initiation marks a lifelong commitment, binding members to the mafia's hierarchy until death.
