Il viaggio
- All’arrivo ci sarà un taxi che vi porterà fino all’hotel previsto: Reykjavik4you Apartments, da 168 euro a notte. Il soggiorno previsto è di 2 giorni. Durante tali giorni è possibile visitare la capitale e osservare l’aurora boreale.
- Allo scadere dei 2 giorni, il taxi vi porterà ad Haukadalur, dopo 1 h e 30 m di viaggio, al nàttùra yurtel, da 119 euro a notte, dove la sosta prevista è di altri due giorni. Durante tali giorni è possibile visitare i geyser più antichi del mondo e fare varie escursioni sulle montagne lì presenti.
- Dopo i 2 giorni, il viaggio, dopo 40 m, proseguirà per Thingvellir, parco nazionale, chiamato “Cuore dell’Islanda”. La sosta prevista è di mezza giornata. Allo scadere della mezza giornata ci sarà un ritorno alla capitale, per visitare Hallgrímskirkja, chiesa alta 74,5 metri, che la rende uno degli edifici più alti dell'Islanda e un vero punto di riferimento della città, e Perlan, museo della natura. Alla fine della giornata il taxi vi condurrà all’hotel scelto.
- Il viaggio prosegue, dopo 54 m in auto, Kerið, località turistica dov’è possibile osservare il Cratere Kerid.
- Nell’ultimo giorno, il viaggio previsto è quello di ritorno all’aeroporto di Reykjavik.

Il popolo islandese presenta un forte legame con la tradizione, tramandata dalle saghe e dalle notevoli opere letterarie, ma sente anche una forte spinta verso il nuovo.
Da qui l’apparente contraddizione tra l’attaccamento alle antiche convinzioni, fino a far rivivere da parte di alcuni la religione politeista Ásatrú, e la ricerca sperimentale di sempre nuove forme d’arte, dalla musica, al cinema, alla letteratura, al design, accompagnata dalla diffusione delle più moderne tecnologie.

L'Islanda
Isola dell'oceano Atlantico
l'Islanda presenta una marcata attività vulcanica e geotermica, che ne caratterizza fortemente il paesaggio. L'interno consiste principalmente in un altopiano desertico, montagne e ghiacciai, da cui molti fiumi glaciali scorrono verso il mare, attraversando le pianure. Iniziò a formarsi circa 20 milioni di anni fa a causa di una serie di eruzioni vulcaniche sulla dorsale medio atlantica. La roccia più antica trovata in Islanda ha un'età di 16 milioni di anni.
- Ha un clima subartico.
- La moneta islandese e la Corona islandese.
- Ha il più vasto ghiacciaio europeo, il Vatnajokull.
- La lingua ufficiale è l'islandese.
