What is it?

Cocaine is a tropan alkaloid and strong stimulant mainly used as a recreational drug, it is made from coca leaves, a plant that grows in South America.The most common forms of use are inhalation, insufflation or injection into a vein in the form of cocaine hydrochloride, basic cocaine paste and crack. Cocaine is highly addictive, due to its effect on the mesolimbic pathway of the brain, and there is a high risk of dependence.
