this week: pronouns

Pronouns take the place of nouns and help us avoid repetition. Repetitive: Dave was so hungry, so Dave baked a pie. Using Pronouns: Dave was hungry, so he baked a pie. A pronoun must match, or agree with, the noun it replaces. If the noun is plural (indicating more than one), the pronoun it replaces must also be plural. For example: If the children want to visit the museum, they have to stay together.
