Enigma was a German machine designed by Arthur Scherbius. During the Second World War, Nazi Germany used this machine to encrypt codes that could be renewed every 24 hours to hide and prevent the Allies from listening to them. The biggest problem the English had was the bombing of English food ships.

The Turing machine, is a computer system that can allow to decipher the encrypted enigma codes which are renewed every 24 hours, a real computing feat. To know :deciphering the code without the machine at this time in 24 hours was almost impossible. They did not have the technological advances of today.
