About the series
Why he is a byronic hero
"Simon fits into the tradition of many famous archetypes, he is an anti-hero, mysterious, dark, threatening, tormented by his past. He attracts, which is why we want to find out who he is, how he redeems himself, what he has to do in the end to be able to do so", the actor explained when talking about his character. This is nothing other than the perfect description of the Byrinian hero since he is very rarely a true hero, he is rather an anti-hero endowed with great charm, charisma, driven by ardent passions and ideals, but often acts in an inappropriate manner, rejecting the canons of the society around him.
