Biography

In 1942, together with inventor George Antheil, he created a secret communication system for the Allies during World War II, called 'spread spectrum', which became the basis for modern technologies such as wi-fi and Bluetooth.His invention was recognised until many years later, when his revolutionary work was finally appreciated by engineers and innovators in the field of technology.

Hedy Lamarr

Hedy Lamarr, her real name was Hedwing Eva Maria Kiesler, was one of Hollywood's most famous and popular actresses, not only for her extraordinary beauty but also for her acting skills. She was born on 9 November 1914 and died on 19 January 2000 in the United States. In addition to her career as an actress, Lamarr attended the University of Engineering in Vienna as an inventor and made her contribution to the world of technology.
