Relation with the Bible

James 4:13-15 (NIV): "Now listen, you who say, 'Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.' Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, 'If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.'” In this passage, James is cautioning against presumptuousness in making future plans without considering God's sovereignty and the uncertainty of life.

You may be thinking right now: "I am not in a position to help anyone". But financial help or giving food are just two of the many ways we can help others. There is always something we can do to help and bless those around us. We just need to have a willing heart and be sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit.

Relation with the Bible

Prayer is a powerful tool for seeking God's guidance, wisdom, and direction for the future. James 5:16 (NIV) encourages believers to, "pray for each other so that you may be healed.
