How are we going to learn

In this course you will:

  • Read, listen and learn vocabulary, idiomatic expressions associated to the units.
  • Be able to write and speak about topics proposed.
  • Discuss with the class about the topics.
  • Reflect on different situations that might occur in other contexts and yours.
  • Work collaboratively.
  • Develop a classroom project about a topic of your own interest.

As in all courses offered by the Language Center, this one focuses mainly in developing the Communicative Competence; integrating other competences and subcompetences to help you grow and improve personally and professionally. The most important thing is not just to learn the language itself, but to use it effectively and let yourselves get immersed in the different units we are going to study.

What do we need

There are several strategies to improve your English competences and enjoy the course, but what we mainly need is...

There will be lessons in which laptops, tablets or iPads will be used (if you have one). Additionally, it is paramount to have all your attention towards the class and the activities prepared. This course is a space of personal and professional growth.

  • Tons of motivation.
  • Desire of learning.
  • Positive and friendly attitude.
  • Commitment.
  • To attend every single lesson (20%).
  • Think out of the box.
  • Focus on your personal goals.
  • Face every activity as a self-challenge, not a task.
  • Support others when necessary.
