"What do we see, hear, smell, feel at night outside our window?"

We talked about Earth's rotation around its own axis and how this cause the phenomenon of day and night
we covered and with a flashlight (it was the sun) we could see when we are on the side of Earth that is facing the Sun. As Earth was spinning, we were moving to the side facing away from the Sun, and we had nighttime.

We saw night paintings
and we inspired to create our own artwork

we used aluminium and recycled yogurt aluminium cover
"Sea night storm"
We visited the Nautical Museum of Galaxidi
we observed the sailing ships and we learnt how captains used the stars to navigate.
Also we examined the role of lighthouses and how helpful are at night.
so we made a beebot game
using a beebot ship and lighthouses to mark the European ports
The children became captains and they had to program the robotship to travel at night and go to the port where the illuminated lighthouse was positioned (at the top there is a tealight with batteries)
