Standard Intern Program Pathway

Successful Completion Looks Like...

To become an RSP teacher, one must meet certain qualifications and demonstrate proficiency in key areas. These include a bachelor's degree in education, an internship placement, a teacher preparation program, supervised teaching experience, continuous professional development, successful evaluation, demonstration of competencies, completion of licensure or certification requirements, commitment to ethical standards, and integration into the teaching community. These requirements ensure a successful transition into the special education field (Clinical Practice Handbook, 2023).
