VFR vs IFR
Notice the differnce between the detail of the VFR chart vs. the IFR chart!
The IFR chart has no need for things like small bodies of water or elevation lines because the assumption is you won't see them. You're in the clouds!
Bravo Airspace
Bravo airspace is outlined in solid blue and shaded on the inside with light blue shading.
- Notice how there are not "cake tiers" depicted
- Also notice how no other class of airspace is shown
Crossing Restriction
This flag with an "X" on it denotes a crossing restriction. This tells the pilot that we must be at a certain altitude PRIOR TO reaching this intersection.
The restriction can change or be non-existant based of the route you are on and the direction of travel
- Going NE on V567 we must cross the fix at 14000 feet!
