About the placement test

The placement test was divided into 2 parts. The 1st part questions 1-40 and 2nd part questions 41-60. This is how you will be graded and the conversion onto the English Proficiency level according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference

The Oxford Quick Placement Test was applied as one of the tools to measure your English level and thus enhance your knowledge and language abilities in order to take you up to the next level.

It is important to know that this placement test has not taken into consideration your listening, speaking, or writing abilities. However, it is a pretty good tool to give us a good idea. So do not worry about that. Everybody will be trained to the B2 First Preliminary Test

Only Parts 2-4 test your use of English abilities, while parts 1, 5, 6, and 7 test Reading abilities

Getting to kow the exam and what you are asked to do in each task will give you the chance to be better prepared and actually score higher.

It is really not necessary that you answer the questions in the order they are on the paper. You can decide in which order you wish to answer them as you develop your own strategies. You might want to start with the sections you like the least.
