Fitness enthusiasts and athletes often have trouble with finding products that fit to their specific requirements, preferences, and performance objectives (Varshney, 2020). due to a lack of personalised solutions, users might experience a sense of detachment from their equipment and fail to take advantage on potential improvements.

Opportunities

Using IoT technology gives Nike a lot of chances to come up with new ideas, set itself apart, and give its customers something of value. Nike can offer personalised, engaging experiences that improve performance, get users more involved, and build brand loyalty by putting sensors and smart technology into its sportswear. IoT-enabled sportswear gives athletes and fitness fans real-time feedback on performance data, personalised training suggestions, and health and wellness information. This helps them make the most of their workouts and reach their goals. IoT also gives Nike the chance to grow its community by teaming up with technology companies, platform developers, and health and fitness apps. This way, Nike can give customers a more seamless and connected experience across all of its touchpoints. Overall, IoT helps Nike stay on the cutting edge of new ideas in the sportswear business and keep being a star in sports technology and performance.
