What is precisely : GUN CONTROL and why we use this concept ?
GUN CONTROL : MEANING
Gun control is defined by Cambridge Dictionnary as a law that control the sale and the use of guns and who is allowed to own them. But why a gun control ?
- To avoid that everyone own a weapon and use it in a bad way
- A guarantee of protection for citizens themselves
- To prevent arms trafficking
- To save other citizens on danger

HOW GUN CONTROL CAME
Where GUN CONTROL is born, and how it evolved until today ?
IT WAS BORN ON THE UNITED STATES
Gun control was born in the USA for the first time in 1911 in the state of New York. This state adopted a law Sullivan that autorize the sale and own of hanguns. In 1968, a big revolution by the Gun Control Act (GCA). GCA is a U.S federal law that regulates the firearms industry and guns owners. This law comes after the assassination of President John Kennedy.

How gun control is regulated by law ?2 countries to demonstrate the United of Kindgdom and Israel
- Strictest weapons regulations in the world
- Carabinieri and hunting weapons authorized for public use only (other weapons prohibited)
- Exceptions for certain states such as Scotland whcih requires additionnal licences to carry weapons
- Weapons are strictly regulated, but there are no constitutional laws on carrying them
- You need a justified reason to have a gun
- But the law facilitates access to weapons for law-abiding citizens with no criminal record

Today it is impossible to see any reform in the face to power of the lobbies. The law seems to go in their favor Gun control in the U.S takes a potentially dangeroous turn
