  1. Students will first work independently to create their own work problem equation using two-variables.

2. Students will be given 12 minutes to work on this equation INDEPENDENTLY (students must solve their equation and show answer)

3. Students are free to pick their own topics for their word problem (topic examples will be available on smartboard)

4. Students will be assigned a partner for peer-assessment of work.

5. Students will be given a rubric for assessment purposes.

6. Students will be given 7 minutes to assess work based off of rubric and will "grade" their partners work.

7. Students will then be given 3 minutes each to explain each grade to their partner.

8. Students will be asked to share out their work!
