ONCE UPON A TIME...

Using the steps of the writing process, students write a personal narrative about a real experience from their lives. The narrative should be about a a goal they reached or a challenge they had to overcome. Their narrative should be written from a first-person point of view. It must be a true story with a clear beginning, middle, and end. Their narrative should be at least five paragraphs long.

Then record yourself reading out loud or read in front of a mirror, introduce yourself to the audience and read the narrative out loud. Submit with final draft.
