Tyler Robert Joseph (December 1, 1988) was born in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Kelly and Christopher Joseph. His mother is a math teacher and his father is a physical education coach. He has a sister named Madison and his two brothers, Zack and Jay, are also involved in music.

Tyler Robert Joseph , is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and producer, famous for being the lead singer of the alternative rock duo Twenty One Pilots.A high school basketball player, Tyler turned down an athletic scholarship to pursue music and in 2008 released his first album.

he founded Twenty One Pilots (2009), along with Nick Thomas and Chris Salih and after their departure was joined by Josh Dun. In 2012, the duo signed with Fueled By Ramen.
