IT IS USED TO TALK ABOUT FUTURE PLANS AND INTENTIONS. STRUCTURE: am/is/are + going to + infinitive verb.
- Affirmative sentences: I am going to work at the zoo tomorrow.
- Negative sentences: We aren't going to watch Free Willy next week.
- Interrogative sentences: Is the lorry going to crash over that boy? Yes, it is. / No, it isn't.
