Dispersión de la luz blanca
La luz blanca está compuesta de varias señales de diferente frecuencia y longitud de onda. Es un fenómeno por la cual cuando la luz blanca atraviesa un prisma, sus distintas componentes se propagan a distinta velocidad y sufren diferente desviación, por lo que sus distintas componentes son apreciables
La luz es una onda electromagnética, es decir un campo eléctrico y un campo magnético variables y perpendiculares entre sí
