There are still animals living in Chernobyl.

Situation: In 1986, in Chernobyl, the explosion of a nuclear power station caused serious radiations which made the area around the city unlivable for humans.
Despite the radiations, there are still animals living around Chernobyl but those radiations have caused them mutations like on the pictures above. Moreover their life expectancy is significantly reduced.
