Situation: These dolphins can be found in rivers near Brazil, Columbia, Equador, Peru, Guyana and Venezuela. Around 30 different chemicals can be found in the major rivers of the Amazon basin, where pink dolphins usually live.
Consequences: Due to water pollution, overfishing and deforestation, pink dolphins are considered endangered. The chemicals have very bad effects on them like the impossibility to reproduce or the reduction of their life expectancy.
What can we do ? We can use fewer chemicals and recycle more the drugs we use
