What about....

AREZZO

Maintaining many of its Medievalcharacteristics, Arezzo contains beautiful constructions worth seeing, including the Gothic cathedral which dates back to 1286, the Gothic Church of San Francesco from the 14th century, the Bruni Palace (15th century origin) which is now a museum and gallery, and Vasari's mansion.

Dear reader

The "Canons Palace" built on the south side of Piazza Duomo has a balcony supported by four columns between which two large statues are put. One of these depicts Brunelleschi admiring its dome

Dear reader

Before the name Firenze, the city was called Florentia and then Fiorenza, a name that seems to be associated with the Latin word for "flower' (Flor), which we can still see in the English name of the city (Flo-rence; Flo-wer).

Dear reader

This statue of a bronze piglet by Pietro Tacca is a copy of the marble statue that was donated to Cosimo I Medici. Today, you can slip a coin in the piglet's mouth and hope it will fall into the grid underneath, then touch its nose. it will bring you good luck!
