MARTE

Marte è il quarto pianeta del sistema solare in ordine di distanza dal Sole; è visibile a occhio nudo ed è l'ultimo dei pianeti di tipo terrestre dopo Mercurio, Venere e la Terra. Chiamato pianeta rosso per via del suo colore caratteristico causato dalla grande quantità di ossido di ferro che lo ricopre, Marte prende il nome dall'omonima divinità della mitologia romana.

MERCURIO

Mercurio è il pianeta più interno del sistema solare e il più vicino al Sole. È il più piccolo e la sua orbita è anche la più eccentrica, ovvero la meno circolare, degli otto pianet

URANO

Urano è il settimo pianeta del sistema solare in ordine di distanza dal Sole, il terzo per diametro e il quarto per massa.Porta il nome del dio greco del cielo Urano, padre di Crono (Saturno) e nonno di Zeus.

INVERNO

L'inverno è una delle quattro stagioni in cui si divide l'anno, viene dopo l'autunno e precede la primavera. L'inizio dell'inverno nell'emisfero boreale è collocato indicativamente al 21 dicembre, quando ha luogo il solstizio. Esso, che coincide con l'ingresso del Sole nel segno del Capricorno, risulta nell'emisfero boreale il giorno con il dì più breve e la notte più lunga. In seguito, le ore di luce acquistano progressivamente maggior lunghezza.

TERRA

La Terra è il terzo pianeta in ordine di distanza dal Sole e il più grande tra i pianeti terrestri del sistema solare, per massa e per dimensioni. Sulla sua superficie, si trova acqua, presente in tutti e tre gli stati di aggregazione (solido, liquido e gassoso) e un'atmosfera composta in prevalenza da azoto e ossigeno. E' l'unico corpo planetario del sistema solare adatto a sostenere la vita.

AUTUNNO

L'autunno è una delle quattro stagioni in cui è suddiviso l'anno, segue l'estate e precede l'inverno. Nell'emisfero boreale, l'inizio dell'autunno è convenzionalmente individuato attorno al 23 settembre: al verificarsi dell'equinozio d'autunno. La fine della stagione corrisponde invece al 20 dicembre, quando avviene il solstizio invernale.

PRIMAVERA

La primavera è una delle quattro stagioni in cui si divide l'anno; viene dopo l'inverno e precede l'estate. Nell'emisfero boreale la stagione ha inizio attorno al 20 marzo, in coincidenza dell'equinozio. Il termine indicativo è invece fissato al 21 giugno, prima che si verifichi il solstizio estivo. Per quanto riguarda l'emisfero australe la primavera occupa il periodo dal 23 settembre al 21 dicembre, ovvero in corrispondenza dell'autunno boreale.

SATURNO

Saturno è il sesto pianeta del sistema solare in ordine di distanza dal Sole e il secondo pianeta più massiccio, dopo Giove. Il pianeta ha un esteso e vistoso sistema di anelli esterni, che consistono principalmente in particelle di ghiaccio e polveri di silicati. Insieme agli anelli, orbitano 146 lune conosciute.

NETTUNO

Nettuno è l'ottavo e più lontano pianeta del Sistema solare partendo dal Sole. Si tratta del quarto pianeta più grande, considerando il suo diametro, e il terzo se si considera la sua massa. Il nome del pianeta è dedicato al dio romano del mare.

LUNA CALANTE

ESTATE

L'estate è una delle quattro stagioni in cui è diviso l'anno, segue la primavera e precede l'autunno. Nell'emisfero boreale la stagione copre l'arco di tempo che va dal solstizio di giugno (21 giugno) fino al 20 settembre, prima dell'equinozio (21 settembre) che inaugura l'autunno. In Italia, tradizionalmente, l'estate inizia il 21 giugno. In questo periodo dell'anno il Sole, che ha raggiunto il punto più alto rispetto all'orizzonte, comincia una discesa che termina con il solstizio d'inverno.

GIOVE

Giove è il quinto pianeta del sistema solare in ordine di distanza dal Sole e il più grande di tutto il sistema planetario: la sua massa corrisponde a due volte e mezzo la somma di quelle di tutti gli altri pianeti messi insieme. È classificato, al pari di Saturno, Urano e Nettuno, come gigante gassoso. Il pianeta ha rivestito un ruolo importante nel credo religioso di numerose culture, tra cui i Babilonesi, i Greci e i Romani, che lo hanno identificato con il sovrano degli dei

LUNA PIENA

Il plenilunio (o Luna piena) è la fase della Luna durante la quale l'emisfero lunare illuminato dal Sole è interamente visibile dalla Terra. Questo succede perché la posizione del satellite è opposta a quella del Sole rispetto alla Terra. In questo modo la Luna risulta visibile per l'intera notte.
