Pizza was born in the 1889, when Raffaele Esposito, prepared in honor of the queen of Italy, Margherita di Savoia, and he decided to put in the pizza the three color of our flag: green, white and red.The tomatoes want to represent the red, mozzarella the white and basilico the green.
