- In my view, experiencing life in a different country could be interesting. - I believe that learning foreign languages is important. - As I see it, meeting people from different cultures expands your horizons.

We use them to connect similar ideas: - Their backgrounds are similar and they've also got a lot in common.- It was difficult because I wasn't fluent in French. In addition, I missed my family and friends, so I felt lonely. - I enjoyed experiencing a different culture. What's more / Moreover, I made new friends. - I'm adapting to a different lifestyle as well as studying in a foreign language.

We are visual beings. We can understand images from millions of years ago, even from other cultures.
