How to Play
1. Students will be assigned roles (Music Mafia, Doctor, Sheriff, and Musicians).2. After roles are assigned, all students will listen to their teacher as she narrates the plot of the game. Each student must play their role secretly. 3. As the game continues, students will be chosen by the Music Mafia to answer a question or be eliminated (if they are unable to correctly).4. At the end of each question round, the Musicians will get to vote on who they believe is in the Music Mafia. 5. If all Musicans are eliminated before the Music Mafia, the Music Mafia wins! If the Musicians are able to eliminate the Music Mafia, the students win
The Musicians' jobs are to answer Musical questions, whether or not they are under attack from the Music Mafia, or saving a fellow Musician from the Music Mafia. Each round they will get to accuse and vote on who they believe is in the Music Mafia. If the Musicians overpower the Music Mafia, they will win the game! Use your best judgement and try to help as many Musicians as possible.
The Sheriff's job is to figure out who is in the Music Mafia. Each round they will get to choose ONE Musician to investigate. The narrator will give the Sherriff clues on who is in the Music Mafia or not, but the Sheriff cannot make any arrests unless they convince the majority of the Musicians in Town Meeting. If the Music Mafia is able to pick off every Musician by the end of the game, they will win. If the Musicians overpower the Music Mafia, they will win the game! Use your best judgement and try to help as many Musicians as possible.
The Doctor's job is to protect the Musicians. Each round they will get to choose ONE Musician to save from the Music Mafia. They are allowed to save themselves, but remember- If the Music Mafia is able to pick off every Musician by the end of the game, they will win. If the Musicians overpower the Music Mafia, they will win the game! Use your best judgement and try to help as many Musicians as possible.
The Music Mafia's job is to deter all other players from raising suspicion of who they are. They will pick ONE Musician each round to "go after". The remaining Musicians will vote on who they believe is in the Music Mafia. If the Music Mafia is able to pick off every Musician by the end of the game, they win the game!
