01: Introduction about the Bq zum kit
The BQ ZUM Kit is an educational robotics kit designed by the Spanish company BQ. It is made up of a controller board, sensors, actuators, and other electronic components that allow people to learn about programming, electronics, and robotics in a fun and educational way. It is perfect for beginners and students who are interested in the world of technology and programming.
02: Components
Buzzer
Zum Core 2.0 Board
It is a component that produces sounds. They are used in many systems to produce signals or warnings, such as alarm clocks, doorbells...
The Zum Core controller board is a board specially designed for education. It has several elements included such as: The digital pins, the USB connection, the processor, the power input, the power pins...
LIGHT SENSOR
It is an analog sensor that gives a measure of light intensity. It gives values between 0 and 1023, a 0 when it is totally dark and increasing the value as the light increases.
Infrared Sensor
It is a device that emits an infrared light and detects the amount of reflected infrared light. The infrared sensor in this kit is digital and gives a 1 when it detects a lot of light and a 0 when it doesn't detect light.
Potentiometer
It is a component that regulates the intensity of the electric current in a circuit. They are used in many devices, such as in lamps to regulate light intensity
Ultrasonic Sensor
It is a component capable of measuring distances. It has two parts, one is the sender that emits the signal and the other is the receiver that receives the signal if it bounces off a nearby obstacle.
Cable USB-microUSB 1m
LED
It is a type of USB connector, which is characterized by having a size much smaller than this, and similar to the most recent USB-C. Is used when we are charging devices or transferring files.
It is a component that emit light when electricity circulates. LEDs are cheap, use very little energy and can be very bright. They are replacing traditional lighting due to their efficiency.
BUTTON
It is a digital sensor that is activated when you press it and when you stop pressing it, it is deactivated. In our daily lives we are surrounded by buttons, elevator buttons, computer keys...
02: Components
Continuously Rotating Servo
SERVO
Battery holder
It is a small motor that rotate between 0 and 180 degrees, so it cannot make complete rounds. They can be found in airplanes where it is necessary to know the position of the engine (angle of rotation).
It is a motor whose electronic circuit allows us to control the direction of rotation and its speed. It rotates continuously. They are used in robotics and in many electronic applications (where it is necessary to know the speed and direction of rotation)
It is a compartment used to leave one or more batteries in a computer. The bracket has springs that press the battery terminals and create electrical contact.

04: States Machine
Here i learnt how to create a variable and how to do things depending of that variable. And also how to create two same elements (in this case leds) and do things at the same time with this two leds
05: States Machine with functions
Here I learnt how to create a function, in this case 4 functions. And how to do the same activity as the exercise 4 using this functions.
06: Traffic Lights
Here I learnt how to use the servo, which I didn't used it before, and how to do functions using the servo and 2 leds. I alsolearnt how to create a functions that lasts x seconds
Here i learnt how to put more than one "IF" function inside antother block, and how to put advanced functions. The rest is similar as the previous exercise
03: Led+ Button+ Light Sensor
00: Blinking led
Here i learned how to turn on and off a LED, and how to make it last for several seconds
07: Robot Hand
Here I learnt how to play a buzzer sound, and as i hav done in the previous exercise, how to move the servo to x degrees
Here i practised again the function "IF" and if a value is higher/smaller than x number, do something and do other thing if the value is smaller/higher than x number
02: Led+Light Sensor
01: Led+Button
Here i learned the function "IF" and how to do something if the value is true, and how to do other thing if the value is false
