What is chronophobia?
Chronophobia is a type of specific phobia in which the passage of time is the stimulus that causes extreme fear. People with this disorder have an irrational, excessive and uncontrollable fear of the passage of time.
Symptoms of fear of the passage of time
A series of physical and physiological symptoms occur, such as the following:
- Headache
- Dizziness
- Shortness of breath
- Suffocation
- Nausea and vomiting
- Tremors
- Dry mouth
- Palpitations

Chronophobia can be treated, some relaxation techniques, mindfulness, meditation or any other stress management technique can give good results.
