infinitive + -ed Example: played
Negative: didn't + infinitive Example: didn't play

A few examples:
- have - had
- do - did
- get - got
- go - went
- see - saw
Remeber to learn all these verbs by
Present perfect: forms
have + past participle:
I have already eaten.
3rd person sigular:
she/he/it has + past participle
She/he/it has already done all the homework.
Present perfect: negative forms AND QUESTIONS
Haven't / hasn't + past participle
- I haven't done my homework yet.
- She/he hasn't finished tidying up her/his room.
In questions, we invert subject-verb order
- Have you ever seen a monster?
- Has he already told you the story?
Present perfect vs. past simple: Use
we use te past simple:
We use the present perfect:
- to refer to a definite time in the past (there is no connection to "now")
- to talk about a series of events
- when there is a connection with "now"
- with adverb such as "ever" "just" or "already"
- after "It' the first time that ..."
