How did these skills help

When I started this course, I had some basic tech skills thanks to my IGCSE ICT background. We learned about web development and photo editing with different tools, but platforms like Photoshop and Google Sites that were new to me. So, when I began my project, I had to figure out how they worked. I ran into some issues with Photoshop though. Even though I knew the basics, there were some advanced techniques I wanted to learn. Luckily, my mom knows about Photoshop. So, I asked her for some tips and tricks, and she helped me out big time. I was able to create some awesome visuals for my site. In the first section, I've included some tutorials showing how I learned and grew as an editor, thanks in part to my mom's guidance.

How i used my skills

I used photoshop in my front cover for two things. One being creating my logo of my magazine and the other was editing my magazine such as changing the color saturation or adding a filter to my magazine. I also cropped the image by allot.

How i used my skills

I used Photoshop a lot on my context page. Firstly I inserted three images that I had taken then I individually cropped all of them so that they were the same size and they were all in the same position. Then I cropped the image farthest to the left and took the top of then I inserted the logo of my magazine. I then inserted three line shapes around my images as they didn't look good with black space. then formated text to all align with each other and the images

How i used my skills

In the double-page spread I pretty much did the same thing as in the context page when it came to formatting the text. I also did the same thing I did in the front cover when it came to the editing of the image as I wanted to keep a similar feel all around

After skills

Through the process of creating a cover page, front cover and double-page spread for my work, I explored different aspects of design and digital media. Using the design tools allowed me to create custom designs and add visual interest to my designs.The creation of the logo posed the challenge of rendering complex concepts into simple yet striking images. It helped me understand how the use of lighting in portraits can create visual interest and create mood. In addition, the spelling quality ensured the clarity and effectiveness of the presentation.

How did these skills help me

Throughout my career, I continued to refine my skills, resulting in a journal that incorporated traditional design principles. Along the way, I explored applications like Publisher and Photopea, gaining valuable insight into their functionality. Now, I feel more confident and adept at editing images to enhance their visual power,Also, I expanded my skills to include video editing using applications like Editor, Powtoon, Google Docs, and Google Slides. This allowed me to gain important perspective by remembering in detail the process behind the magazine, as well as giving me insight into the skills I developed throughout the project. Overall, this journey has not only deepened my understanding of design, but it is also a versatile set of tools for future creative endeavors.
